Free Dish 35th e-auction may be cancelled due to applicant

As you know DD Free dish held its 35th auction for fill vacant DTH slots on its platform, for only non-news & current affairs channels. But again 2nd time in this year, No any television broadcaster have taken part in this auction because unfortunately there was no bidder.


Although there is no official confirmation from DD India website or Prasar Bharati about 35th e-auction results, it is just guess because it has been very long time, DD Free dish not declare results of this 35th e-auction. The earlier 33rd e-auction held on 11 April 2017, there was also no applicant taken part. But in middle of both e-auctions, in 34th e-auction 3 TV channels successfully renewed its DTH slot on DD Free dish platform which has held on 9th May 2017.

Recently DD Freedish increased its DTH slot per annum subscription from 3.5 crore to 8 crore (about). So it may be big reason small budget broadcasters not able to take part in DD Freedish eauctions. There may be another reason to increase price of dth slots so that good TV channels can add on DD Freedish dth platform so lets see what happens in near future because DD Freedish will increase TV channels 80 to 250 TV channels.
